The committee will meet at the University of Houston Hilton Hotel,
Shamrock Room (261 A), 4800 Calhoun, Houston, TX to discuss interim charge
#2:

Monitor implementation of H. B. 6, 77th Legislature, to ensure that charter
schools protect state resources, that they provide the educational programs
included in their charters, and that board members and school officials
comply with other requirements of the legislation.  Consider whether
virtual schools comprised of home-schooled children should be eligible for
state funding as charter schools.
