                  Committee will hold a briefing on Base Realignment and
                  Closures (BRAC) today in the Lieutenant Governor's
                  Committee Room at 3:00 p.m. or upon adjournment.

                  Invited testimony includes Mr. J.J. Gertler, a senior
                  staff member of the United States House of
                  Representatives Armed Forces Committee, Mr. Richard Hall,
                  Executive Director of the Red River Redevelopment
                  Authority, the Texas Strategic Military Planning
                  Commission, the Office of Defense Affairs and the Texas
                  Defense, Aviation, and Aerospace Alliance.
