Following the public hearing Call to Order, the Committee will meet for
a closed session to hear a security briefing by the following invited
witnesses (see Note):

Rebecca Klein, Public Utility Commission of Texas
Sam Jones, Electric Reliability Council of Texas
Joe Beal, Lower Colorado River Authority
William T. Cottle, South Texas Nuclear Project Operating Company
Charles Patton, AEP
John Houston, Reliant Energy
Stephen Schaeffer, Reliant Energy
James Sheppard, Reliant Energy
Curtis Seidlits, TXU
Mike Green, TXU
Mike McCall, TXU
Lance Terry, TXU

The Committee will then reconvene to hear invited testimony only, on
the progress of the transition to a retail market.

NOTE:  Pursuant to Section 551.076, Government Code (Texas Open
Meetings Act), the Committee will adjourn after a public roll call to
meet in closed session to deliberate the deployment, or specific
occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices at the
various electric generating and power transmission facilities in this
state.  This portion of the meeting is closed to the public for
security reasons.  During this closed session, no other issues will be
discussed.

Section 551.076, Government Code, provides that the Texas Open Meetings
Act "does not require a governmental body to conduct an open meeting to
deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation,
of security personnel or devices."
