H.R. No. 35 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Kevin and Valentina Pitre welcomed their precious 
baby girl, Kourtney Nicole Pitre, into the world on June 24, 2003; 
and
	WHEREAS, Kourtney weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 
19 inches in length when she made her debut at 9:36 p.m. at Charlton 
Methodist Hospital in Dallas; and
	WHEREAS, This charming new Texan is a source of great pride to 
her large and loving family, which includes her doting 
grandparents, Artie, Marjorie, and Elaine; her aunts, Jackie, 
Sonya, Felicia, and Debbie; her uncles, Calvin, Leonard, Derrick, 
and June; her numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins; and 
particularly her older sister, Jasmine; and
	WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and 
it is indeed a privilege to join in celebrating the arrival of 
Kourtney Nicole Pitre and to honor her delighted family; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Kevin and 
Valentina Pitre on the birth of their daughter, Kourtney Nicole 
Pitre, and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued 
happiness; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Pitre family as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
