R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on June 18, 2003, Sylvan and Betty Miori 
commemorated this joyous occasion in their marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Sylvan Miori married the former Betty Seward Brown 
at Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton; their union has been 
blessed with two children, Marsha Miori Breeden and Louis Edgar 
Miori, and the couple have also seen their family grow to include 
five treasured grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, After half a century of companionship, Mr. and Mrs. 
Miori still cherish their time spent together; this remarkable 
marriage has produced a fine family and many joyous memories, and 
the love Mr. and Mrs. Miori continue to share remains an inspiration 
to all who know them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Sylvan and 
Betty Miori on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them 
warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Miori as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
