                                                                  H.R. No. 83 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Greenville Chamber of Commerce recently took 
first place in the map division of the Texas Chamber of Commerce 
Executives Media Contest, and this achievement truly merits special 
recognition; and
	WHEREAS, The Greenville Chamber won the competition with its 
new Greenville/Hunt County map, which complements the 
organization's membership directory and relocation magazine and is 
distributed in relocation and visitors' packets; the chamber also 
won third place in the media competition for its website; and
	WHEREAS, This outstanding organization is under the 
leadership of Kelly Hall, president, and Marilynn Portman, sales 
director, and it has approximately 600 members; and
	WHEREAS, The staff of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce 
strives to provide chamber members with professional, cutting edge 
marketing tools to promote the community's products and services, 
and this recent achievement is a tribute to their dedicated 
efforts; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate all those 
associated with the Greenville Chamber of Commerce on their 
outstanding performance at the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives 
Media Contest and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued 
success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce as an expression of 
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
