R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Charles and Lynda Minatrea marked a special 
milestone in their lives together on June 8, 2003, when they 
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted 
by their children and grandchildren at the Live Oak Room of the 
Mineola Civic Center; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on June 2, 1953, in Grand 
Saline, Mr. and Mrs. Minatrea have been blessed with three 
children, and they have proudly watched their family grow to 
include seven grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Minatrea is retired after a 46-year career in 
route sales supervision, which included 20 years with Ideal Baking 
Co. of Tyler, and Mrs. Minatrea has been a loving and supportive 
homemaker over the years; both attend Jamestown Church of Christ 
and belong to Smith County Master Gardeners, where Mr. Minatrea 
currently serves as vice president; and
	WHEREAS, For more than half a century, this devoted couple 
have nurtured a strong bond of love, filling each other's lives with 
many happy times and cherished family memories, and it is a 
privilege to honor them for all they have accomplished in their life 
together; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas  
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Lynda Minatrea on the 
joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Minatrea as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
