H.R. No. 105
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Q-Nails in Edinburg, Texas, has been named "Favorite
Nail Shop" in the Monitor 2003 Readers' Choice poll and this honor
is truly well deserved; and
WHEREAS, Opened in 1999 by Steven and Janie Hoang, who in
addition to managing the business also work as nail technicians,
Q-Nails has experienced great success and in 2001 expanded to
include a second location; and
WHEREAS, Local businesses not only provide goods and services
to their customers, but are also a cornerstone of our economic
system; the Hoangs have demonstrated true entrepreneurial spirit in
founding and expanding Q-Nails, and their dedication to their
patrons makes them worthy recipients of this accolade; and
WHEREAS, Representative Aaron Pena has justly recognized
Q-Nails by passing this resolution in the company's behalf during
the 78th legislative session; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Q-Nails on its
selection as "Favorite Nail Shop" in the Monitor 2003 Readers'
Choice poll and extend to Steven and Janie Hoang best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Q-Nails as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
