                                                                  H.R. No. 113



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Anthony Duncan, owner of Hudson's Bar and Grill, was 
recently named a 2002-2003 Outstanding Restaurateur by the Texas 
Restaurant Association (TRA); and
	WHEREAS, One of 13 individuals selected for this honor 
throughout Texas, Mr. Duncan, who was nominated by the El Paso 
Chapter of the TRA, was chosen based on his significant 
contributions to the restaurant industry, to the TRA, and to the 
community; and
	WHEREAS, This outstanding businessman began his career in 
1978, and since that time he has won the respect and admiration of 
his colleagues and friends for his keen business sense; and
	WHEREAS, In addition to running his own successful 
restaurant, he has served as the president and state director for 
the TRA and three terms as the president of the El Paso chapter of 
the TRA; and
	WHEREAS, Anthony Duncan has given generously of his time and 
talents to advance not only his own business, but also the 
restaurant industry in Texas, and it is a pleasure to honor him for 
his recent accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Anthony 
Duncan on being selected as a 2002-2003 Outstanding Restaurateur by 
the Texas Restaurant Association and extend to him sincere best 
wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Duncan as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
