H.R. No. 140



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Bernard and Lois Catalano of Mineola have celebrated 
their 50th wedding anniversary, marking the golden milestone in 
their long and happy union at a mass held at St. Peter the Apostle 
Catholic Church and at a reception in their honor following the 
mass; and
	WHEREAS, The Catalanos first met at a skating rink in 
downtown Fort Worth and were joined in marriage six months later, on 
June 20, 1953; they share a warm and fulfilling relationship that is 
an inspiration to all who know them and take great pride in their 
family, which includes daughter Sally Jacunski, grandchildren 
Amanda Hernandez and James Jacunski, and great-granddaughter 
Ananissa Hernandez; and
	WHEREAS, For five decades, Mr. and Mrs. Catalano have filled 
each other's lives with love, and their marriage has been enriched 
by cherished family memories and many joyful times; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Bernard and 
Lois Catalano on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them 
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Catalano as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
