H.R. No. 146
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, October 18, 2002, marked a milestone in the life of
Joseph Lee Trevino of Donna, for on that day he celebrated the
arrival of his 15th birthday among some 400 family and friends at
his quinceañero; and
WHEREAS, Derived from the Spanish words "quince" and "años,"
meaning "15" and "years," the quinceañero marks a young man's
passage into adulthood and will no doubt remain a meaningful event
in Mr. Trevino's life that he will always remember; and
WHEREAS, The son of Frank and Debra Trevino, this noteworthy
young man is a freshman at Donna High School, where he is active on
the school's basketball, football, and track teams; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Trevino is a source of great pride to his family
and to his community, and it is indeed a pleasure to recognize him
at this time; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Joseph Lee
Trevino on the joyous occasion of his quinceañero and extend to him
sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Trevino as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
