SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 67

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize the members of the Booker T. Washington High School 
Class of 1963 on the special occasion of their 40th class 
reunion; and

	WHEREAS, The members of the Class of 1963 are reuniting
on the weekend of August 29 to 31, 2003, to celebrate the 40th 
anniversary of their graduation, to reminisce about their high 
school experiences, and to renew old acquaintances; and

	WHEREAS, In coming together to celebrate their reunion, 
members of the Class of 1963 are expressing their enduring 
commitment to tradition, unity, and loyal friendship; and

	WHEREAS, The members of the Booker T. Washington High 
School Class of 1963 have become successful and productive men 
and women who have contributed greatly to their communities, and 
they can be proud of their many successful endeavors; now, 
therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend the members 
of the Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1963 for their 
many accomplishments and extend to them best wishes for a joyful 
and rewarding 40th reunion; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
