SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 75

	WHEREAS, July 7, 2003, will be a day long cherished and 
remembered by Hanna and Adam Dershowitz, for on that day their 
daughter Zara Columbia was born; and

	WHEREAS, The beautiful baby girl arrived at 9:06 p.m.;
she weighed 6 pounds 4.5 ounces and was 18.25 inches long; and

	WHEREAS, Zara Columbia's safe arrival fulfilled her 
parents' dearest wish, and they are joyful over the birth of 
their new daughter; and

	WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great happiness to 
Zara Columbia's family, and she has been heartily welcomed into 
the Dershowitz household; and

	WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate 
welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the
Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend congratulations
to Mr. and Mrs. Adam Dershowitz and extend best wishes for the 
future to Zara Columbia Dershowitz; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the family as a memento of this event.
