SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 77

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Tommy Hodinh, who was recently honored as the 2003 
Asian Entrepreneur of the Year by the Asian Business Association 
and Asian Enterprise magazine; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Hodinh, the chairman and chief executive 
officer of MagRabbit, Incorporated, was presented the award
on May 23, 2003, in San Diego, California; and
	WHEREAS, MagRabbit, Incorporated, is a leading third-party 
logistics provider that specializes in transportation, freight 
forwarding, and value added logistics management; it has 
continuously been regarded as one of the premier Asian Pacific 
American owned businesses in our nation; and
	WHEREAS, Asian Enterprise magazine sponsors the national 
competition for the award through its "Celebrating Asian 
Entrepreneurs" program, which showcases the finest business 
leaders among Asian Pacific American entrepreneurs; the program 
likewise works for the benefit of Asian Pacific American 
entrepreneurs across America and fosters a visionary spirit for 
the advancement of the Asian American business community; and
	WHEREAS, Tommy Hodinh has played a major role in both his 
company's increased sales and high-quality service; he exemplifies
the spirit of entrepreneurial leadership that is the hallmark of 
American business, and he has brought great honor to himself, his 
company, and his community through his many achievements; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Tommy Hodinh
for his accomplishments as an outstanding business leader and 
congratulate him on his selection as the 2003 Asian Entrepreneur 
of the Year; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
