The bill would make appropriations to the Texas Animal Health Commission for registration fees contained in House Bill 2328, 78th Legislature, Regular Session. The bill would require that the cost of employee benefits incurred in administering House Bill 2328, 78th Legislature, Regular Session, be paid from the appropriations made in this bill.
The Comptroller of Public Accounts included the revenue gain from House Bill 2328, 78th Legislature, Regular Session, in the certification of House Bill 1, the general appropriations act. Therefore, the appropriation and cost shown above would count against the $98.6 million estimated to be available for certification for the 78th Legislature, First Called Session.
