The amount of appropriation necessary to support the Legislative Policy Council would be determined by the Legislature.
This bill would create the Legislative Policy Council (Council) as a state agency of the Legislature. The council would be composed of the Lieutenant Governor, four members of the Senate, the Speaker and four members of the House of Representative. The council could employ an executive director and other staff as necessary.
