Amend HB 25, in SECTION 3.02 of the bill (page 20, line 7), by 
striking all text of the section that follows "September 1, 2003," 
and substituting the following:
	"to the Teacher Retirement System for the purpose of 
restoring, to the extent possible, the amount of the annual 
compensation supplement for health benefits for active school 
district employees, as provided Article 3.50-8, Insurance Code, as 
added by Chapter 1187, Acts of the 77th Legislature, Regular 
Session, 2001."
