R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is a momentous event in 
the lives of two people, and on August 9, 2003, Bob and Margie 
Hughes of Golden are celebrating this special milestone in their 
marriage with a reception at the Golden Community Center; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes were united in matrimony on 
August 8, 1953, and over the years their enduring union has been 
blessed with three children, Cindy Davidson, Patty Sinclair, and 
Sandy Nichols, as well as two grandsons, Tully and Jeffery, and a 
great-grandson, Hunter; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century, this devoted couple have 
nurtured a strong bond of love, filling each other's life with many 
happy times and cherished family memories, and they remain a source 
of inspiration and joy to all who are privileged to know them; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Bob and Margie 
Hughes on the memorable occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary 
and extend to them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hughes as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
