R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is truly cause for a 
celebration, and on June 27, 2003, Robert and Marilyn Wolcott were 
guests of honor at a party marking this significant milestone in 
their marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Joined in matrimony in 1953, Mr. and Mrs. Wolcott 
have enjoyed a relationship filled with many happy times and 
cherished family memories;  during the commemoration of their 
wedding day, the couple and their well-wishers viewed their wedding 
photo album, reminisced about that special day, and enjoyed 
refreshments that included a double-tiered wedding cake as well as 
a groom's cake; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wolcott have shared the trials and 
triumphs of five decades together; their commitment to each other 
is an inspiration to their loved ones, and it is a pleasure to join 
in honoring their enduring union; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Robert and 
Marilyn Wolcott on the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding 
anniversary and extend to them heartfelt best wishes for continued 
happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wolcott as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
