H.R. No. 47 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on July 10, 2003, Bill and Mary Deverell of 
Winnsboro reached this joyous milestone in their marriage; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Deverell and the former Mary Birdsong were wed 
in 1953, and since that time their family has grown to include two 
children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS,  They celebrated this significant occasion in their 
relationship with a luncheon at the First Assembly of God 
fellowship hall, during which time they reflected on their many 
years together with the couple's cherished family and many friends; 
and
	WHEREAS, The Deverells have enjoyed a relationship built on 
trust, understanding, and mutual respect; they have demonstrated a 
deep commitment to one another and to the institution of marriage, 
and the love they share remains an inspiration to all who know them; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Bill and Mary 
Deverell on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them 
warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Deverell as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
