R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Glenwood Oney, Jr., and Jeannie Oney of Marshall   
are marking a special milestone in their marriage with the 
observance of their 25th wedding anniversary on August 16, 2003; 
and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on July 28, 1978, at Nesbitt 
Baptist Church in Marshall, the Oneys have shared an enduring union 
that has been blessed with four sons, Floyd Wayne, William Glen, 
John Daniel, and Kyle David Oney; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Oney are valued members of their 
community; he is employed at the Pottery Tent and Ellis Pottery and 
she works for Wal-Mart, and both have been actively involved in 
youth baseball for 15 years; and
	WHEREAS, For a quarter-century, Mr. and Mrs. Oney have 
nurtured a strong bond of love, filling each other's life with many 
happy times and cherished family memories, and this joyous occasion 
truly deserves special legislative recognition; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Glenwood 
Oney, Jr., and Jeannie Oney on their silver wedding anniversary and 
extend to them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Oney as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
