                                                                  H.R. No. 63 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Kenneth Bailey Hooper is retiring from the State 
Securities Board, bringing to a close a distinguished 36-year 
career in service to the State of Texas; and
	WHEREAS, Serving as a securities investigator and assistant 
director of enforcement, Mr. Hooper has demonstrated the highest 
ethical and professional standards in representing the State 
Securities Board while acting with resolve to protect the rights 
and interests of individual investors in Texas; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Hooper's skill and determination have made him a 
source of inspiration for those individuals who have worked 
alongside of him, and it is a distinct privilege to recognize his 
career of outstanding public service to the people of the Lone Star 
State; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Kenneth Bailey 
Hooper for his 36 years of employment with the State of Texas and 
extend to him best wishes for future happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Hooper as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
