H.R. No. 69 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Charles and Wanda Gandy of Edom celebrated their 
50th wedding anniversary on July 27, 2003, marking this golden 
milestone with a special night at the Shed Cafe; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Gandy and the former Wanda Boyd were married on 
July 25, 1953, and since that time they have been blessed with three 
children, Kent, Steven, and Donna, nine grandchildren, and four 
great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, For five decades, this devoted couple have shared 
many happy times and cherished family memories, and their 
commitment to each other is a source of great pride to their family 
and friends; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby honor Charles and Wanda 
Gandy on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend 
to them warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
