H.R. No. 90 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Lloyd Arthur Flanagan and Letha Faye Flanagan of 
Leonard have marked a special milestone in their lives together 
with the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary on August 
10, 2003; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Flanagan and the former Letha Faye White were 
united in matrimony on August 8, 1953, in Trenton, and since their 
nuptials they have shared an enduring union that has been blessed 
with a loving and supportive family; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Flanagan were joined by family and 
friends  to commemorate this momentous occasion in their marriage 
with a reception at the First United Methodist Church in Leonard; 
hosts included their daughter and son-in-law, LaQuita and Russell 
Marshall, their grandson and his fiancee, Chris Marshall and 
Kimberly Salinas, and their granddaughter and her friend, Carolyn 
Marshall and Robert Miller III; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century, Mr. and Mrs. Flanagan have 
nurtured a strong bond of love, filling each other's lives with many 
happy times and cherished family memories, and it is a pleasure to 
honor them for this achievement; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Lloyd Arthur 
Flanagan and Letha Faye Flanagan on their golden wedding 
anniversary and extend to them best wishes for continued happiness; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Flanagan as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
