R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, R. W. and Kay Spraggins of Greenville recently 
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, marking a notable 
milestone in their long and happy union with a family reunion hosted 
by their son Jay; and
	WHEREAS, Joined in marriage on August 2, 1943, in Laredo, Mr. 
and Mrs. Spraggins enjoy a warm and fulfilling relationship that is 
an inspiration to all who know them; the couple take great pride in 
their family, which includes two sons and daughters-in-law, Riley 
and Lynn Spraggins and Jay and Becky Spraggins, five grandchildren, 
and nine great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Valued residents of Greenville, Mr. Spraggins is 
retired from the Department of Defense, while Mrs. Spraggins is a 
devoted wife, mother, and homemaker; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades, R. W. and Kay Spraggins have filled 
each other's lives with love, and their marriage has been enriched 
by cherished family memories and many joyful times; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate R. W. and Kay 
Spraggins on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them 
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Spraggins as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
