R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Wayne Arnold of Gilmer was recently installed as 
governor of Rotary District 5830, and he is most deserving of this 
prestigious office; and
	WHEREAS, Throughout its history, Rotary International has  
promoted the values of community service, high business and 
professional standards, and international understanding and 
goodwill, ideals which Mr. Arnold has consistently supported during 
his association with the organization; and
	WHEREAS, The first member of the Gilmer Rotary Club to serve 
as district governor since 1953, Mr. Arnold brings to the 
governorship a can-do attitude, which, combined with his spirit of 
good fellowship and the belief in a better future for all, holds 
great promise for a productive tenure; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Arnold has long devoted himself to the worthy 
goals of Rotary International, and he is most deserving of special 
legislative recognition at this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Wayne Arnold 
on his installation as governor of Rotary District 5830 and extend 
to him sincere best wishes for success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Arnold as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
