R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The congregants of Central Assembly of God Church in 
Greenville are deeply appreciative of Pastor Larry Allgood, their 
spiritual leader for the past 13 years, and on September 5, 2003, 
they are celebrating his 30-year career in the ministry; and
	WHEREAS, A native of Dallas, this esteemed clergyman 
graduated from Plano High School and attended Ozark Bible College 
in Neosho, Missouri, and Richland College in Dallas; 
professionally, he followed in his father's footsteps, for Leonard 
Allgood has served as pastor of the First Assembly of God church in 
Plano for 45 years; and
	WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Pastor Allgood enjoys the love 
and support of his wife, Barbara, and their children, Chris Allgood 
and his wife, Melissa, and Alecia Fogleman and her husband, Adam; 
and
	WHEREAS, Pastor Allgood demonstrates a deep commitment to the 
well-being of the members of his church and greater community, and 
it is a pleasure to join in paying tribute to him at this time; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Pastor Larry 
Allgood on the joyous occasion of his 30th anniversary in the 
ministry and 13 years of leading the congregation of Central 
Assembly of God; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Pastor Allgood as an expression of high regard and best 
wishes by the Texas House of Representatives.
