R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, George P. Theriot III will mark a noteworthy milestone in his life on September 4, 2003, when he celebrates his 60th birthday; and WHEREAS, A native Texan, he was born in Dallas to proud parents George Theriot, Jr., and Lolita Theriot; he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and earned a degree at the University of Oklahoma, and he remains a loyal football fan of his alma mater and a lifelong member of Sigma Chi; and WHEREAS, This beloved gentleman enjoys the support of his family, including his wife of 31 years, Nancy, and his three children, George, Joe, and Kelley; he looks forward to celebrating another important milestone in the coming year when his "baby girl" is wed in May; and WHEREAS, With 60 years of wonderful memories, George Theriot truly has reason to celebrate, and it is a pleasure to honor him on his special day; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate George P. Theriot III on his 60th birthday and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Theriot as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
