H.R. No. 140
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kelly Hall, executive director of the Greenville
Chamber of Commerce, received a great honor when the Greenville
Independent School District bestowed on her the prestigious Key
Communicator Award at the 2003 annual Back-to-School Convocation;
and
WHEREAS, Established in 1982, the Key Communicator Award is
presented yearly to those who consistently represent the district
in a positive light; over the years, 87 individuals have been
selected to receive the accolade, which is Greenville ISD's highest
recognition; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Hall was chosen for her exceptional work with
the chamber of commerce, through which she has greatly contributed
to bringing local, regional, and national recognition to the
district; in addition, she has given countless hours to district
committees and devoted her time and energy to the new Texas Scholars
program at the high school; and
WHEREAS, Through hard work and an unwavering commitment to
the youth of her city, Ms. Hall has made an indelible impression on
the Greenville community, and her endeavors in behalf of her fellow
citizens truly deserve special recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Kelly Hall on
her receipt of the Greenville ISD Key Communicator Award and extend
to her best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Hall as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
