H.R. No. 27 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Bill and Donna Morrison of Midland were guests of 
honor at a dinner party at Venezia's hosted by their family and 
friends in commemoration of their 50th wedding anniversary; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Morrison exchanged wedding vows with the former 
Donna Raybon on July 18, 1953, at First United Methodist Church in 
Crane; the couple are richly blessed with a fine family that 
includes two daughters, Virginia Lee Morrison and Kim Sepolio, and 
two grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, The Morrisons made their home in Midland in 1952 and 
moved back to the city in 1984, after having lived in Calgary, 
Alberta, Canada, as well as in Amarillo and Houston; Mrs. Morrison 
has been a dedicated homemaker throughout her marriage, while Mr. 
Morrison retired in 1988 as vice president and division general 
manager of Enron Oil and Gas; and
	WHEREAS, Together, this devoted couple have shared the trials 
and triumphs of five decades, and it is a privilege to pay tribute 
to their enduring union; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Bill and Donna 
Morrison on the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary 
and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Morrison as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
