R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Don and Barbara Bizzell of Midland celebrated their 
50th wedding anniversary on July 19, 2003, with a reception at 
Living Way Church; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on July 24, 1953, Mr. and Mrs. 
Bizzell have shared an enduring union blessed with two children, 
Stephen and Terry Bizzell, and they are the proud grandparents of 
three grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Bizzell was employed by Powell Brothers Grocery, 
and he retired from Albertson's in 1995; Mrs. Bizzell worked for 
First National Bank, and she retired from Bank of America in 1995; 
and
	WHEREAS, Valued members of the community, Mr. and Mrs. 
Bizzell are an inspirational couple who have nurtured a strong bond 
of love for half a century, filling each other's lives with many 
happy times and cherished family memories, and they are most 
deserving of special recognition for this milestone achievement in 
their lives; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Don and 
Barbara Bizzell on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bizzell as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
