R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The life of Jaceb Ronald Thomas Fedro of Lakeway,
which had brought so much joy and happiness into the lives of
others, ended all too soon with his death on July 29, 2003, at the
age of eight, and his passing brought a tremendous loss to the
family and many friends of this beloved child; and
WHEREAS, Born July 12, 1995, Jaceb was a straight A student in
the second grade at Lakeway Elementary School; this bright young
boy enjoyed fishing, swimming, baseball, and soccer, and his
active life included such achievements as being named honorary
president of the Texas Municipal Police Association and honorary
police officer for the City of Lakeway; and
WHEREAS, There is no greater tragedy than the death of a
child, for in children's young faces we see the hope and promise of
our future; Jaceb's unique spirit remains alive in the hearts of all
who loved him, and although his time here was limited, his courage,
his ability to love, and his capacity to inspire were boundless, and
this legacy will never be forgotten; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
Jaceb Ronald Thomas Fedro and extend sympathy to the members of his
family: to his parents, Lt. James Fedro and Dottie Garza Fedro; to
his sister, Amber Fedro; to his grandparents, Freddie and Sylvia
Garza and Red and Beverly Mowery; to his great-grandmother, Margie
Clark; to his aunts, Bobbie Garza-Hernandez and her husband, Roy,
Gail Gonzales and her husband, Jesse, and Mandy Carreno and her
husband, Rene; to his uncle, Freddie Garza, Jr.; to his cousins,
Courtney, Zachry, Noah, and Julian Enriquez; Bianca, Jacob, and
Isaiah Garcia; Justin and Elijah Gonzales; Kimberly Garza; and RJ
and Baby Sylvia Carreno; and to his other relatives and many
friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jaceb
Ronald Thomas Fedro.
