H.R. No. 72
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, September 6, 2003, was indeed a special day for Rose
Martinez and Joel Casas, for on that day they exchanged their
wedding vows at St. Joan of Arc Parish Hall in Weslaco and embarked
on a new life together as husband and wife; and
WHEREAS, The nuptials of these two fine individuals have
brought great delight to their parents; employed at Harlingen
Family Dentistry, Ms. Martinez is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Martinez, Jr., and her husband, who works for the Tamayo
House Juvenile Facility, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcelino Casas;
and
WHEREAS, This blessed event marked a profound deepening of a
relationship that has grown in love, respect, and mutual regard
with each passing day, and it is truly a pleasure to honor this
fortunate couple at this time; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Rose Martinez
and Joel Casas on the joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to
them warmest best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
