R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, On September 20, 2003, Debbie Mendiola and Mark 
Edward Perez are being united in matrimony at St. Benedict's 
Catholic Church in San Benito to the delight of all who know them; 
and
	WHEREAS, The daughter of Rene and Rosie Mendiola, the bride 
was born in Weslaco on April 16, 1980; after graduating from Weslaco 
High School, she continued her education at South Texas Vo-Tech to 
become a legal office specialist; and
	WHEREAS, Born in San Benito on April 24, 1975, Mr. Perez is 
the son of Juanita Perez and the late Guadalupe S. Perez; he 
attended San Benito High School and went on to graduate from Texas 
State Technical Institute as an automotive technician; and
	WHEREAS, The marriage of two people is a joyous event that 
marks the beginning of a union filled with limitless possibilities, 
and it is a privilege to honor this couple as they embark on a new 
life together; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Debbie 
Mendiola and Mark Edward Perez on the occasion of their wedding and 
extend to them sincere best wishes for a rich and rewarding 
marriage; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Mendiola and Mr. Perez as an expression of high 
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
