R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, September 12, 2003, was a momentous day in the life of Amanda Davis of McKinney, for on that day she became the proud mother of four adorable babies when she gave birth to quadruplets; and WHEREAS, Born at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, the two sets of identical twins with two boys and two girls were surely the center of attention among staff and patients alike when they made their dramatic debut; and WHEREAS, The precious quartet made their way into the world starting at 8:56 a.m. and ranged in weight from 1 pound, 14 ounces, to 2 pounds, 9 ounces; with their undeniable good looks and charming personalities, Vincent Ryan Calabrese, Raymond Zachery Calabrese, Ruby Abbygail Calabrese, and Alexis Rochelle Calabrese have won the hearts of all those who have had the pleasure of seeing them; and WHEREAS, The birth of two sets of identical twins is a miraculous event, estimated to occur once in every 35 million births, and it is a great pleasure to formally announce the arrival of this beloved Texas-sized bundle of joy; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby officially welcome Vincent Ryan Calabrese, Raymond Zachery Calabrese, Ruby Abbygail Calabrese, and Alexis Rochelle Calabrese as new citizens of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to Amanda Davis on the birth of her cherished children; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be prepared for the Calabrese quadruplets and their mother as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
