R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Relatively few golfers realize the dream of hitting 
a hole in one, but when they do, the memory lasts a lifetime, and on 
September 8, 2003, Alan Ware joined the ranks of this elite group of 
golfers; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Ware made his ace on the 15th hole of the White 
Bluff Golf Club on Lake Whitney while participating in the 11th 
Annual Pitts-N-Putters Golf Tournament, which is hosted by State 
Representative Jim Pitts; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Ware's remarkable achievement caused quite a 
stir, and this rare occurrence was undoubtedly one of the 
tournament's most exciting highlights and was made all the more 
memorable in that it was duplicated by another golfer in the 
tournament on the same hole; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Alan Ware on 
making a hole in one and extend to him best wishes for continued 
success and happiness in all his endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Ware as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
