H.R. No. 109



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Memorial Lutheran School in Katy has been awarded 
national accreditation by the National Lutheran School 
Accreditation Commission, and this high honor is indeed well 
deserved; and
	WHEREAS, One of just 500 schools in the nation to receive this 
designation, Memorial Lutheran School is a credit to the Katy 
community and to the Lone Star State; and
	WHEREAS, The school's Christian education program has met the 
rigorous standards established by the National Lutheran School 
Accreditation Commission, and this fine school will undoubtedly 
continue to ably prepare its students to succeed in the new 
millennium; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby recognize Memorial 
Lutheran School in Katy for being awarded national accreditation by 
the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission and 
congratulate director Karen Newman and all those associated with 
this exemplary school.
