H.R. No. 134



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on August 28, 2003, Mr. and Mrs. Irby Lee Heddins 
of Edgewood marked this significant event in their lives with a 
family party at Eddie Deen's Ranch Hand Barbecue in Terrell; and
	WHEREAS, The couple were joined in marriage on August 28, 
1943, in a ceremony held in Edgewood; through the years, their close 
and enduring relationship has served as an inspiration to their 
wide circle of loved ones and has been the source of much happiness 
and contentment for these two committed individuals; and
	WHEREAS, The heart of a close-knit family, Mr. and 
Mrs. Heddins have been blessed with two daughters and sons-in-law, 
Gail and Allen Basham and Linda and David Landrum; they also take 
great pride in their four grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Together, this devoted couple have nurtured a strong 
bond of love and filled each other's lives with great joy, and it is 
a privilege to join in honoring them at this time; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Mr. and 
Mrs. Irby Lee Heddins on the momentous milestone of their 60th 
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for 
continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Heddins as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
