R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 25th wedding anniversary is truly cause for 
celebration, and on September 1, 2003, Billy and Sherry Sheffield 
of Quinlan marked this significant event in their lives; and
	WHEREAS, The couple were joined in marriage on September 1, 
1978, in a ceremony held in the home of family friends; through the 
years, their close and enduring relationship has served as an 
inspiration to their wide circle of loved ones, which includes two 
sons, Jody and Justin; and
	WHEREAS, Mrs. Sheffield is employed with Presbyterian 
Hospital as an emergency room social worker, while Mr. Sheffield is 
a home builder and owns Sheffield Construction Company; they are 
active congregants of the First Baptist Church in Greenville, where 
Mrs. Sheffield sings with the Praise Team and Mr. Sheffield teaches 
a class of one-year-olds; and
	WHEREAS, Together, this devoted couple have nurtured a strong 
bond of love and filled each other's lives with great joy, and it is 
a privilege to join in honoring them at this time; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Billy and 
Sherry Sheffield on the joyous occasion of their 25th wedding 
anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued 
happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Sheffield as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
