R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rollin A. Sininger of Canton is retiring from the Van Zandt County Library Advisory Board, bringing to a close a distinguished two-term tenure that has been characterized by integrity and excellence; and WHEREAS, The advisory board oversees the day-to-day operations of the library and makes recommendations for its operation to the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court; during Mr. Sininger's term, the library received numerous grants and awards, developed and adopted a policies and procedures manual, and expanded existing parking facilities; and WHEREAS, In his role as an advisory board member, Mr. Sininger has been instrumental in the decision-making process and has shared his knowledge and expertise with his fellow board members; he is also an active member of the Canton Lions Club, Canton Main Street, and First Baptist Church; and WHEREAS, Through his dedication and commitment, Mr. Sininger has gained the respect of his fellow board members and the admiration of many citizens of Van Zandt County, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his six years of service on the Advisory Board of the Van Zandt County Library; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor Rollin A. Sininger on his retirement from the Van Zandt County Library Advisory Board and commend him for his exemplary service; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Sininger as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
