R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, September 25, 2003, marked a very special day in the
lives of Mauricio Ariel and Cindy Guajardo Garza, for on that day
the adoption of their cherished son, Jonathan Ariel Garza, was
finalized; and
WHEREAS, Jonathan weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and
measured 19-1/2 inches in length when he made his debut at McAllen
Medical Center on July 14, 2003; and
WHEREAS, His long-awaited arrival has been a source of great
pride to his family and many new friends, particularly to his doting
grandparents, Manuel and Noelia Garza and Nafteli and Georgina
Guajardo; and
WHEREAS, Blessed with the love and support of his devoted
parents and close-knit family, Jonathan can indeed look forward to
a bright and promising future, and it is a pleasure to welcome him
into the world; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Mauricio and
Cindy Garza on the birth and adoption of their baby boy, Jonathan
Ariel Garza, and extend to them sincere best wishes for much
happiness in the years to come; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the Garzas as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
