H.R. No. 210



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Bill and Blanche Coker recently marked a golden 
milestone in their lives together as they celebrated their 50th 
wedding anniversary on September 6, 2003, among friends and family; 
and
	WHEREAS, This devoted couple were joined in matrimony on 
September 9, 1953, in the Perkins Chapel on the campus of Southern 
Methodist University; over the years, they have nurtured a strong 
bond of love, and their marriage has been blessed with children and 
grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century Mr. and Mrs. Coker have enjoyed an 
enduring union that has enriched their lives and the lives of their 
family and friends; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Bill and 
Blanche Coker on the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding 
anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Coker as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
