R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, October 8, 2002, was indeed a special day in the
lives of LaDawn and Anthony J. Daniel of Lexington, for it marked
the occasion of the birth of their adorable baby girl, Kyla Dawn
Daniel; and
WHEREAS, This charming beauty made her debut at 1 p.m. at St.
David's Hospital and shares her birthday with her neighbor, Peggy
Miller, of the house reproduction department; and
WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning
personality, Kyla Dawn has brought great joy into the lives of her
parents and her many admirers, including her maternal grandparents,
Eddie Floyd and IraLea Puckett, and her paternal grandmother, Carla
Gay Daniel, all of Sweetwater; she is also the granddaughter of the
late Larry Glenn Daniel; and
WHEREAS, The birth of a new Texan is always a momentous
occasion and the members of this chamber take great pleasure in
formally announcing Kyla Dawn's birth and honoring her delighted
parents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby officially welcome Kyla
Dawn Daniel as a new citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt
congratulations to LaDawn and Anthony J. Daniel on the birth of
their cherished daughter; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Kyla Dawn and her parents as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
