H.R. No. 234



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, September 24, 2003, was a day of great significance 
in the lives of Brian and Lisa Strauss of Bellaire, for on that day 
they became the proud parents of an adorable baby girl whom they 
named Noa Hadas Strauss; and
	WHEREAS, Noa weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 18 
inches in length when she made her debut at 6:20 p.m.; her arrival 
has been a source of great pride for the family's extensive circle 
of family and friends, particularly for her older brother, Joshua 
Harry Strauss, and for her grandparents, State Senator Florence 
Shapiro and Howard Shapiro and Shirley and Larry Strauss; and
	WHEREAS, Blessed with the love and support of her close-knit 
family, Noa can indeed look forward to a bright and promising 
future, and it is a pleasure to welcome her into the world at this 
time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Brian and Lisa 
Strauss on the birth of their daughter, Noa Hadas Strauss, and 
extend to them sincere best wishes for much happiness in the years 
to come; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Strauss as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
