H.R. No. 235
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dr. Harrison Keller of Austin has been selected to
join the Associates Program at the National Center for Public
Policy and Higher Education (NCPPHE); and
WHEREAS, Duly recognized for his contributions to education
policy, Dr. Keller was chosen to be part of a selective group of
young professionals from academia, government, and other nonprofit
organizations who will advise the National Center on major trends
in higher education policy; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Keller fulfilled his undergraduate studies at
the University of Notre Dame and pursued advanced degrees at
Georgetown University, where he earned an M.A. and a Ph.D. in
philosophy; and
WHEREAS, Currently serving as senior policy analyst for
education in the office of Speaker Tom Craddick, this esteemed
gentleman has worked as a research scientist associate at The
University of Texas, an adjunct professor of philosophy at St.
Edward's University, and an education analyst for State
Representative Dianne White Delisi; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating remarkable dedication and
determination, Dr. Keller truly exemplifies the best of those
engaged in this notable profession, and it is a pleasure to
recognize him at this time; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Dr. Harrison
Keller on being selected as an associate for the National Center for
Public Policy and Higher Education and extend to him sincere best
wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Dr. Keller as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
