H.R. No. 279



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Ram Alejandro of Weslaco has faced and overcome a 
tremendous tragedy in his life, and his efforts are indeed worthy of 
special honor; and
	WHEREAS, In 2002, shortly after his graduation from Weslaco 
High School, Mr. Alejandro was involved in a car accident that 
claimed the lives of two of his best friends; and
	WHEREAS, Since that time, this courageous young man has 
wholeheartedly pursued his lifelong dream of working in the music 
industry, be it in front of or behind the curtain; with a renewed 
feeling of passion and resolve, he has focused his energies on this 
goal and plans to attend school in Austin to learn the fundamentals 
of music production; and
	WHEREAS, Ram Alejandro has demonstrated exceptional bravery, 
faith, and determination in getting beyond this devastating 
accident, and his bold commitment to a dream serves as an 
inspiration to all who know of him; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Ram Alejandro for 
his perseverance and extend to him sincere best wishes for future 
success and happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Alejandro as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
