R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The family and friends of Emilie Ory Di Rosa of 
Houston were profoundly saddened by the passing of this esteemed 
lady on October 1, 2003; and
	WHEREAS, Mrs. Di Rosa was a valued member of her community, 
where her friendship was cherished by those who were fortunate 
enough to have known her; a beloved mother and grandmother, she  
committed her life to caring and providing for her family, and her 
legacy of good work will not soon be forgotten; and
	WHEREAS, A positive influence in the lives of many people, 
Mrs. Di Rosa will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but 
her spirit will continue to live in their hearts; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of 
Emilie Ory Di Rosa and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her 
family:  to her children, Emilie Booth, Linda Di Rosa, Nancy Danna, 
Frank Di Rosa III, and James Di Rosa; to her 12 grandchildren; to 
Francis Ory and Neville Ory; and to her other relatives and many 
friends; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of 
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Emilie Ory 
Di Rosa.
