                                                                  H.R. No. 295



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Efram and Olivia Casarez celebrated their 50th 
wedding anniversary on October 4, 2003, marking this golden 
milestone with a memorable reception hosted by their children and 
grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Casarez and the former Olivia Mendoza were 
married in 1953 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Austin, and they 
have been blessed with three sons, Efrem, Rudy, and Rick, their 
respective spouses, Kathy, Marlene, and Rachel, and eight 
grandchildren, Amanda, Lauren, Marc, Kimberly, Kristen, Rick, 
Ryan, and Brandon; and
	WHEREAS, For five decades, this devoted couple have shared 
many happy times and cherished family memories, and their 
commitment to each other is a source of great pride to their family 
and friends; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor Efram and Olivia 
Casarez on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and 
extend to them warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Casarez as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
