H.R. No. 300
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Residents of Lorena were deeply saddened by the
passing of Gary William Schoenemann on September 29, 2003, at the
age of 55; and
WHEREAS, A native Texan, Mr. Schoenemann was born February
19, 1948, in Brenham to proud parents Burford and Ruth Schoenemann;
he graduated from Brenham High School and went on to attend Sam
Houston State University in Huntsville; and
WHEREAS, He treasured spending time with young people and
coached a number of youth baseball and soccer teams; an
accomplished equestrian, he enjoyed horse training and judging
horse shows, and was an active member of the American Quarter Horse
Association; and
WHEREAS, Respected in his community, Mr. Schoenemann worked
as branch manager of Auto Chlor Systems and was a valued congregant
and elder of the Community of Christ Church; and
WHEREAS, Gary Schoenemann will be fondly remembered as a
loving husband and father whose sense of humor was equaled by his
willingness to help others; although he will be deeply missed, his
memory will long live on in the hearts and minds of the many people
whose lives he touched; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 78th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor the life of Gary
William Schoenemann of Lorena and extend sincere sympathy to his
family: to his wife, Donna Schoenemann; to his children, Jenny
Glaser and T. J. Schoenemann; to his mother, Ruth Schoenemann; to
his sister, Suzanne Johnson; to his brother, Larry Schoenemann; to
his aunt, Ruby Luedemann; and the other relatives and many friends
of this beloved gentleman; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Gary
Schoenemann.
