SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 94

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Esperanza "Hope" Campos, who retired on August 31, 2003,
after 32 years of loyal service with the Texas Education Agency; 
and

	WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Hope Campos was guided 
by the belief that employees of the Texas Education Agency can 
make a positive difference through their service to students, 
parents, and educators across the Lone Star State; and

	WHEREAS, Hope demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her 
role in public education, and over three decades of dedicated 
service, she undertook increasingly responsible positions, 
culminating in 2002 with a critically important position in the 
Office of the Commissioner of Education; and

	WHEREAS, An exemplary lady, Hope Campos is admired and 
respected by her former colleagues, and her presence at the Texas 
Education Agency will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 
78th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend
Esperanza Campos on her exceptional career with the Texas 
Education Agency and her many contributions to our state and 
extend to her best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, 
be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
